(Henry 1978) An unusual colour, a cream and pink blend with a purplish eye. The sepals tend to be creamy and pinkish petals have a cream mid rib. One of Andy’s favourite Siloams. Smaller blooms here than registered.

Tetraploid Siloam Red Toy

(Henry 1975 Converted) Round, bright red flowers. Converted to teraploid for use in hybridising. Said to be brighter and clearer colour than the diploid original. Should anyone wish to use this plant for hybridising we cannot absolutely guarantee that this is a stable conversion, although we have no reason to believe otherwise.

(Millikan 1982) Round and recurved yellow flowers are highlighted by the green throat in the centre. Jan really rates this and has been enjoying it even more as it matures into a large clump, but has been persuaded to divide it so others can enjoy it too.

(Salter, E.H. 1988) A delicate looking, mauve lilac flower, with an eyezone that has been described as slate blue in the States. In our cooler climate it is more slate than blue. Very beautiful; it takes a while to get established, but worth the wait.
